En el planteamiento de Neige tiene un papel muy importante la unidad portátil MCO, que le permitió grabar todas las muestras en lugares nevados: Zug, en Suíza, Embid, en la Sierra del Jalón y Centenera, en la Alcarria.

El fotógrafo Javier Vallhonrat cedió una fotografía de su serie sobre Graubünden y todas las tomas iniciales fueron volcadas a mini-disc de la serie Neige de Sony.

Es pues un disco totalmente nevado, aunque las muestras digitales obtenidas con el MCO provienen de muchos otros lugares, pues esa es una de las virtudes del método (a destacar los mensajes marítimos para la flota del Mar del Norte).

Las composiciones fueron interpretadas en concierto en el Museu d'Art Comtemporani de Barcelona (MACBA) y ahí se grabó el disco.

Se editó en un sólo track, aunque en el inlay aparecen los títulos de las composiciones, que están unidas entre sí:
