Tras la edición de "Piedra Nombre", Victor Nubla trabajó hasta 1994 con la unidad MCO hasta producir material para un triple cd, que apareció ese año, financiado por Hrönir a través del sello Zanfonia. "La vía iluminada" es el primer disco del triple, que incluía un encarte con textos y gráficos explicando el funcionamiento del sistema de sampleo azaroso de la onda corta que es en sí el MCO.
